BYBELLI
The Dutch-Italian brothers Riccardo and Patrick Belli from design studio ByBelli collaborate for the first time and share their ideas and visions for JAPTH. The brothers look for the perfect balance between style and functionality in all of their designs.

RICHARD HUTTEN
Designer Richard Hutten is well-known for what he refers to as ‘No Sign of Design’ furniture: functional furniture in a highly conceptual and humorous style or as he likes to describe his own work: “Playfulness is an important aspect of my work. My designs are not only beautiful, but also optimistic and fun.’’
Hutten started his own design studio in Rotterdam in 1991. He has also been involved with Droog Design since its founding in 1991 and is one of the prominent exponents of Dutch design.
DAPHNA LAURENS
Eindhoven-based design studio Daphna Laurens was established by Daphna Isaacs and Laurens Manders in 2008, after they had just graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven.
The studio’s stylistic research is geared towards experimentation, both in the search for new shapes as in the use of new materials. By doing so, Daphna Laurens wants to transform everyday products into objects that have their own identity. The artefacts created by Daphna Laurens for JAPTH seem to be hybrids, presenting themselves as versatile solutions that combine functionality and expressiveness.
YKSI ONTWERP
Yksi Ontwerp consists of Eduard Sweep and Kees Heurkens. They have been developing concepts and designs for a wide range of uses. For offices, shops, museums, hotels and the private sector. They are one of the initiators of the well-known Dutch Design Week and founded JAPTH together with Aart van Rooij.

WILLEM SCHOUTEN
A multidisciplinary creative whose goal is to create timeless products and concepts that have the quality to stand the test of time. Willem Schouten believes good concepts arise from exploring form and function, wandering through the grey area’s that lie between different work fields and breaking down borders between them.
